Maria Rodriguez

Edcouch- Maria Rodriguez, 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Windsor Nursing Home in Weslaco, Texas.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on June 8, 1938 to Andres Leal and Tomasa Leal in Elsa, Texas.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents, Andres Leal and Tomasa Leal; her brother, Ramon Leal, her sisters, Jesusa Salinas & Guadalupe Vallejo; and her husband, Roberto Rodriguez.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Juan Rodriguez, Rudy (Enedelia) Rodriguez; her daughter, Susana (Andy Lopez) Rodriguez; her sister, Cleo Leal; her grandchildren, Andrea Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez Jr., Audrey Ocanas, Jimmy Garza and Abby Garza and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Rodriguez is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
