Brownsville - Maria Lina Polanco, 85, passed away Saturday at her residence. F
Mrs. Polanco was born September 23, 1935 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, daughter of Melquiades Aguilar and Martha Najera Aguilar. She is preceded in death by her parentsl ; a brother, Enrique Aguilar and her sisters, Serapia De Leon, Rosa Arevalo and Martha Oyervides.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Rogelio Polanco; her children, Rogelio Polanco Jr., Francisco Polanco, Diana Polanco, Pedro Polanco, Osvaldo Polanco, Esmeraldo Polanco Odubassa' brothers, Gonzalo Aguilar, Jose Aguilar, Pedro Aguilar. Also surviving her ar 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Templo Bethel Asamblea De Dios at 2965 Tampico in Brownsville.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. at Templo Bethel .  Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
