Weslaco, Texas - Maria Enedina Leal Perez, 96, passed away to be with the Lord on September 3, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Perez was born on January 3, 1929 in Nuevo Leon Mexico to Mr. Jose Leal & Mrs. Porfiria Leal.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Porfirio Perez; one son, Jose Perez & one daughter, Maria Gloria Perez.

Maria Enedina Leal Perez is survived by two daughers, Maria Elena Vasquez & Maria Dolores Perez. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Maria Enedina Leal Perez is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. A 10:00 AM Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
