Maria Reyes Ibarra

Elsa- Maria Reyes Ibarra, 92, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her residence in Weslaco.

Mrs. Ibarra was born on April 29, 1932 to Mr. Luis Reyes and Mrs. Ofilia Campbell Reyes in Edcouch,Texas.

Mrs. Ibarra is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Luis Reyes and Mrs. Ofilia Campbell Reyes; her husband, Manuel Ibarra Sr.; her son, Abel Ramiro Ibarra; her brother, Manuel Campbell; her sister, Olivia Guerra.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Manuel (Mary) Ibarra Jr., Luis (Mary) Ibarra, Benigno (Rose) Ybarra, Gerardo "Jerry" Ibarra; her daughters, Helena (Jesus) Cavazos, Maggie Ibarra, Donnie Ibarra, Elisa (Sal Castillo) Ibarra; her daughter-in-law, Diana Ibarra; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Reyes Ibarra is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
