Edcouch - Maria E. Trevino, 91, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Mission.

Mrs. Trevino was born January 5m 1934 in Meexico daughter of Rogelio Izaguirre and Silvestra Trevino. She is preceded in death by her husband Ruben Trevino and her parents; 2 son, Reynaldo Vasquez and Jorge Horacio Vasquez; a daughter, Flor Estela Wheelock.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Noe Vasquez, Homero Vasquez and Ovidio Vasquez and a daughter, Linda Sylvia Alvarezl her brothers, Roy Chapa and David Chapa and a sister, Hilda Gonzalez, Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday,February 28, 2025 at 12:30 pm with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
