Brownsville- Maria de Jesus Rodriguez, 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025, at her residence in Brownsville.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on December 18, 1948, to Mr. Cipriano Resendiz and Antonia Vasquez in Mexico.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her husband Antonio M. Rodriguez (+) parents, Mr. Cipriano Resendiz (+) and Antonia Vasquez (+); her brother, Ignacio Resendez (+).

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Marco A. (Laura) Rodriguez; her daughters, Maria Virginia Rodriguez, Magdalena (Cesar) Urtado, Maria del Carmen Rodriguez; her sisters, Maria del Refugio Guevara, Apolonia Solis; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria de Jesus Rodriguez from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery in Brownsville.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
