Maria Aguilar

Brownsville- Maria Aguilar, 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.

Mrs. Aguilar was born on February 11, 1945 to Mr. Jesus Aguilar and Mrs. Sara Zavala Aguilar in Mexico.

Mrs. Aguilar is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Jesus Aguilar and Mrs. Sara Zavala Aguilar; her loving husband, Jose Natividad Salinas; her sons, Arturo Salinas, Jose de Jesus Salinas; her brother, Salomon Aguilar; her sisters, Ernestina Aguilar, Porfiria Aguilar.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Manuel Salinas, Felipe Salinas, Martin Salinas, Carlos Salinas; her daughters, Guadalupe Salinas de Solis, Elsa Salinas, Josefina Salinas de Gallegos, Sara Salinas; her brothers, Juan Lopez, Ruben Lopez; her sisters, Margarita Lopez, Ester Almaraz and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Aguilar is scheduled for Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville, followed by a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow Guillen Community Cemetery in Brownsville, Texas.
