La Villa- Margarita P. Velazquez, 88, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Weslaco Nursing and Rehab Center in Weslaco.

Mrs. Velazquez was born on June 10, 1934 to Mr. Paulo Perales and Mrs. Romana Torres Perales in Mexico.

Mrs. Velazquez is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Paulo Perales and Mrs. Romana Torres Perales; her sons, Pedro S. Velasquez, Marcos Velasquez; her daughter, Raquel Bazaldua; her brothers, Francisco Perales, Francisco Perales, Clemente Perales, Pascual Perales, Rafael Perales, Tereso Perales; her sisters, Paula Perales, Maria Refugia Chagoya.

Left to cherish her memories are her Loving Husband, Joel Velasquez, her son Noe (Norma) Velasquez; her daughter, Ruth (Juan) Casarez; her daughter-in-law, Manuel Velasquez; her son-in-law, Juan Bazaldua; her brothers, Carlos Perales, Rosendo Perales; her sisters, Maria Moron, Lorenza Perales; her grandchildren, Aide Velasquez, Noralva Velasquez, Juan A. Casarez, Juan L. Casarez, Orlando Casarez and her great-grandson, Samuel L. Casarez.

Visitation for Mrs. Margarita P. Velazquez is scheduled for Monday, April 10, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at Iglesia Misonera del Pacto in La Villa, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
