In Loving Memory of Marcos De Leon
Marcos De Leon, 73, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. He was born on January 16, 1953, in Harlingen, Texas, to the late Guadalupe De Leon and Guadalupe De la Cruz.
Marcos will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished family member whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Esperanza De Leon; his sons, Marcos (Nidia) De Leon Jr., Daniel Alberto (Nierda) De Leon, and Don Levy De Leon; his daughters, Blanca Nelly De Leon, Brenda De Leon, and Priscila De Leon; his brother, Hector De Leon; 20 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever cherish his memory and legacy.
Marcos was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe De Leon and Guadalupe De la Cruz; his brothers, Joel De Leon, Jose Luis De Leon, and Gilberto De Leon; and his sisters, Maria Elena Navarro, Gloria Luna, and Elizabeth Galaviz.
His life was a testament to the importance of faith, family, and love. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation, which will begin on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville - Chapel of the Angels.
A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville - Chapel of the Angels, followed by interment at Buena Vista Burial Park.
May he rest in eternal peace.
