It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Manuel Saenz Jr., who departed this life on April 13, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on March 3, 1971, in Weslaco, Texas, to Manuel Saenz Sr. and Eusebia Aguilar. Manuel was a beloved husband, father, and friend, whose spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

Manuel dedicated his life to the joys of family and community. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, Lorena Saenz, and their children, instilling in them the values of love, togetherness, and resilience. He was a passionate football fan and found great pleasure in hosting Sunday barbecues, where laughter and delicious food brought families and friends together. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobby of raising roosters, a testament to his vibrant personality and connection to nature.

Manuel's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Lorena Saenz, his sons Caleb Samuel Saenz and Manuel Saenz III, his daughter Lauren Ruth Saenz, his brothers, Daniel Salinas Jr. and Jose Manuel Saenz, his sisters; Graciela Perez, Maria Saenz Solis, Iraselma Salinas, Corina Puente and Estefana Saenz.

Visitation for Mr. Manuel Saenz Jr., is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16,2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm and a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10:00 am to 2:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 3:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Mercedes.

In this time of grief, we ask all who knew and loved Manuel to join us in celebrating his remarkable life and the cherished memories we hold dear. Your presence will be a source of comfort to his family during this difficult time.
