Manuel Palomares

Weslaco - Manuel Palomares, 88, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Palomares was born June 20, 1935, in San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Guadalupe Palomares and Refugia Palomo Palomares. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cruz Herrera Palomares, daughters Rosa Ana Rodriguez, Corina Solis and his sister, Refugia "Cuca" Garcia.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Juan Palomares, Marta Moreno, Yolanda Martinez, Armando Palomares, Alicia Martinez and Sulema Palomares. Also surviving him are 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with a rosary at 12:30 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
