He grew up alongside his siblings, sharing bonds crafted through time with his late brother Julian Vega, and his living siblings Francisco Luis Rodriguez, Frances Vega, and Marylou Lopez. Each family tie was a thread in the rich tapestry of his heritage.

A viewing to honor and remember Luis Angel Olivares will be held on April 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, Texas. Here, family, friends, and those whose lives he graced will come together to celebrate a man whose life was a beacon of kindness and light.

As per his wishes Mr. Olivares will be cremated at a later date.
