Weslaco- Linda Isbeth Fraga, born on January 25, 1985, in Weslaco, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Her untimely departure leaves a profound sense of loss among her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Linda was known for her unwavering kindness and her natural ability to bring joy to those around her. She loved to make people laugh and consistently lit up any room she entered. Her generous spirit, humility, and loyalty were the hallmarks of her character. Above all, Linda cherished spending time with her family, for whom she cared deeply and devotedly.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Fraga Jr.; her children, Jose Gael Fraga, Daniella Alexis Fraga, and Kamila Isbeth Fraga, who were the center of her world and the greatest testament to her legacy of love. Linda's mother, Veronica Carrion-Martinez, and her step-father, Joel Martinez, mourn her loss along with her sisters, Lily Gonzalez & Paula Hernandez. Her extended family includes her nieces, Maite Solis, Malenie Solis, Miriam Solis, Miranda Solis and Sophia Stephens; her nephews, Antonio Gonzalez IV, Nathan Nanez and Julian Nanez. Other surviving family members include her in-laws, Jose Fraga & Lupita Fraga, Johana N. Solis (sister-in-law), Josefa Trevino (maternal grandmother), Vicente Hernandez (paternal grandfather).
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved father, Baldemar Hernandez Sr. and her brother, Baldemar Hernandez Jr., her paternal grandmother, Paula Hernandez. Their memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Linda's infectious laughter and selfless nature left an indelible mark on all those she touched. Her ability to give so much of herself, always placing others' needs above her own, is a legacy that will be remembered, celebrated, and cherished.
Public viewings to honor Linda's life will be held at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary services will take place at the same location on both dates at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen, Texas - 3408 Idela Ave, Mcallen, TX 78503 on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Linda Isbeth Fraga's warmth, humor, and enduring dedication to her family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
