Lidia Saldivar

Progreso- Lidia Saldivar, 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her residence in Progreso, Texas.

She was born on March 31, 1939 to Mr. Geronimo Mata and Mrs. Modesta Leal in Mexico.

Mrs. Saldivar is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Geronimo Mata and Mrs. Modesta Leal; her son, Raymundo Saldivar; her brothers, Guadalupe Mata, Miguel Mata; her sisters, Lilia Telles, Maria Bocanegra.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Raymundo Saldivar; her son, Gumaro (Elva) Saldivar; her daughters, Norma (Ambrocio) Gonzalez, Nora Saldivar; her brother, Ruben Mata; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Lidia Saldivar is scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Progreso, Texas. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
