Mercedes, Texas - Lidia Moreno de Venegas, 71, passed away to be with the Lord on January 1, 2024 at Harlingen Medical Center .
Ms. Moreno de Venegas was born on August 3, 1952 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas to Mr. Catarino Moreno & Mrs. Maria del Carmen Celestino.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Aniceto Moreno Celestino.
Lidia Moreno de Venegas is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years Raul Venegas, her daughter Cindy (Caleb) Venegas, her brothers; Jose Matilde Moreno Celestino, Raul Moreno Celestino and her sister Maria De la Luz Moreno Celestino.
Visitation for Mrs. Lidia Moreno de Venegas are scheduled for Thursday, January 11,2024 at 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Heavens. A Mass is scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
