Lawrence "Larry" William Johnson

Born on December 31,1941,in St. Louis Missouri, passed away peacefully on may 1, 2025, at the age of 83. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.

He's proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph & Marian Johnson one sister, Deborah Johnson.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Lydia Johnson who cherished him throughout their many years together, one daughter Shelley Looka (Duane). One sister Adrienne Kuehner (Don) and his grandchildren Nicole Looka & Tyler Looka.

Larry dedicated his life to the world of automobiles. His unwavering work ethic and commitment to business were hallmarks of his character, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

In reverence of his life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Larry are invited to gather and celebrate a life well-lived.

As we honor the memory of Larry, we encourage all those who knew him to carry forward his spirit of kindness, generosity, and love. May he rest in peace, forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
