Julio Segura Ortiz

Julio Segura Ortiz, nacido el 10 de septiembre de 1981 en Reynosa, Tamaulipas, falleció el 2 de septiembre de 2026.

Julio será recordado como un hombre cuya presencia transmitía calidez y serenidad a quienes lo rodeaban. Siempre se mostró alegre, divertido, paciente, tranquilo y respetuoso; cualidades que definieron su forma de vivir y el cariño que le profesaban familiares y amigos. Disfrutaba viendo partidos de fútbol y le encantaba cocinar, compartiendo tanto su tiempo como sus talentos con sus seres queridos. Era especialmente conocido por sus salsas picantes, una muestra sencilla pero memorable de su espíritu generoso. Sobre todo, valoraba profundamente el tiempo que pasaba con sus nietos; esos momentos fueron una de las mayores alegrías de su vida.

Le sobrevive su amada esposa, Maria de Lourdes Segura. También deja a sus hijos y a sus respectivas familias: su hijo, Jesus Abraham Segura, y su esposa Vanessa; su hija, Estefania de Jesus Reazola, y su esposo, Ricardo; y su hija, Juliana Abigail Segura. A Julio también le sobreviven su padre, Apolonio Segura Jr.; sus hermanos, Armando Segura Ortiz, Ivan Segura Ortiz y Brian Ortiz; y sus hermanas, Araceli Anahi Ortiz y Perla Xochil Segura Ortiz.

Su legado perdura en la vida de sus queridos nietos -Sofia Reazola, Camila Reazola, Ricardo Reazola Jr., Jesus Abraham Segura Jr., Eman Gracia y Giovanni Gracia-, quienes le brindaban una profunda felicidad y con quienes disfrutaba pasar su tiempo. Cada uno de ellos ocupaba un lugar especial en su corazón, y el amor que sentía por ellos seguirá siendo parte fundamental de la historia de su familia.

Julio fue precedido en la muerte por su madre, Maria Elena Ortiz, cuyo recuerdo le acompañó a lo largo de toda su vida.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a honrar y recordar a Julio en un velorio público que se llevará a cabo el miercoles 9 de septiembre de 2026, de 4:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens, ubicada en 304 E Edinburg Ave, Elsa, Texas 78543. Esa misma tarde, de 6:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., se llevará a cabo un servicio de oración en el mismo lugar. Los servicios funerarios tendrán lugar el jueves 10 de septiembre de 2026, de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m., en Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens, seguidos por el sepelio en el cementerio Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.

Julio Segura Ortiz será recordado con cariño por su risa, su amabilidad, su carácter sereno y respetuoso, y por la alegría que encontraba al alimentar a los demás, animar en los partidos de fútbol y reunirse con su familia. Su recuerdo perdurará en los corazones de todos aquellos que lo conocieron.

Julio Segura Ortiz, born September 10, 1981, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, passed away on September 2, 2026.

Julio will be remembered as a man whose presence brought warmth and ease to those around him. He was always happy, funny, patient, calm, and respectful, qualities that shaped the way he moved through life and the way he was cherished by family and friends. He enjoyed watching soccer games and loved cooking, sharing both his time and his talents with the people he loved. He was especially famous for his spicy salsas, a simple but memorable expression of his generous spirit. Above all, he treasured spending time with his grandchildren, and those moments with them were among the joys of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria de Lourdes Segura. He also leaves his children and their families: his son, Jesus Abraham Segura, and Jesus Abraham's wife, Vanessa; his daughter, Estefania de Jesus Reazola, and her husband, Ricardo; and his daughter, Juliana Abigail Segura. Julio is also survived by his father, Apolonio Segura Jr.; his brothers, Armando Segura Ortiz, Ivan Segura Ortiz, and Brian Ortiz; and his sisters, Araceli Anahi Ortiz and Perla Xochil Segura Ortiz.

His legacy continues in the lives of his cherished grandchildren, Sofia Reazola, Camila Reazola, Ricardo Reazola Jr., Jesus Abraham Segura Jr., Eman Gracia, and Giovanni Gracia, who brought him deep happiness and with whom he loved spending his time. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his love for them will remain a lasting part of his family's story.

Julio was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Elena Ortiz, whose memory remained with him throughout his life.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Julio at a public viewing on Wednesday,September 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens, 304 E Edinburg Ave, Elsa, Texas 78543. A prayer service will be held there the same evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens, followed by interment at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn Cemetery.

Julio Segura Ortiz will be remembered with love for his laughter, his kindness, his steady and respectful nature, and the joy he found in feeding others, cheering on a soccer match, and gathering close to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
