Donna - Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Juan Ángel Martínez, quien nació el 17 de enero de 2007 y partió de este mundo el 14 de septiembre de 2025, a la temprana edad de 18 años.

Juan Ángel fue un joven reservado pero lleno de vida, conocido por su carácter amoroso, respetuoso, y su nobleza inquebrantable. Tenía una personalidad seria, pero quienes lo conocieron de cerca sabían del gran amor que sentía por su familia, especialmente por su madre, a quien adoraba profundamente. Valiente y decidido, Juan Ángel no le temía a los retos. Fue un verdadero luchador y tomador de riesgos, siempre dispuesto a salir de su zona de confort para crecer, aprender y buscar nuevas oportunidades. Apasionado por los videojuegos, pasaba horas disfrutando de Grand Theft Auto y PUBG en su PlayStation. También tenía un amor especial por el mole de su mamá, el cual siempre consideraba su platillo favorito. Juan Ángel contaba con muchos amigos, con quienes compartía su afición por las "cruise nights" cada domingo en su querida Tahoe. Soñaba con tener algún día un Corvette o un Dodge Challenger, y hablaba con entusiasmo sobre sus planes para el futuro. Desde muy joven demostró una admirable ética de trabajo. Siempre fue un luchador incansable, tomando trabajos ocasionales desde su adolescencia para ayudar en casa y construir un mejor porvenir. Durante el último año de su vida, trabajó como varillero en SpaceX, con la misma dedicación y empeño que lo caracterizaban en todo lo que hacía. Nos deja el recuerdo de un alma joven, noble y trabajadora, que tocó la vida de muchos con su cariño, su respeto y su firme deseo de superación. Su ausencia deja un vacío inmenso, pero su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo amaron.

Le sobrevive con profundo dolor sus padres, Juan Miguel Martinez y Laura (Pedro) Ramirez; sus hermanos, Karim Irracheta, Taisha Marie Martinez, Alexa Irracheta, Jazabell Ramirez; sus abuelos, Maria Cedillo y Jorge Luis Garza, Beatriz Segoviano; muchos mas familiares y amigos.

Una velacion se llevara acabo en Salinas Funeral Home en Weslaco el jueves, 18 de septiembre de 2025 de 1pm a 9pm con un servicio de oracion a las 6pm. Servicio de memoria sera en Salinas Funeral Home de Weslaco el viernes, 19 de septiembre de 2025, a las 2pm seguido por entierro en Val Verde Memorial Gardens.

Donna - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juan Ángel Martínez, who was born on January 17, 2007, and passed away on September 14, 2025, at the young age of 18.

Juan Ángel was a reserved but spirited young man, known for his loving, respectful nature, and unwavering nobility. He had a serious personality, but those who knew him well knew the great love he felt for his family, especially his mother, whom he deeply adored. Brave and determined, Juan Ángel was not afraid of challenges. He was a true fighter and risk-taker, always willing to step out of his comfort zone to grow, learn, and seek new opportunities. Passionate about video games, he spent hours enjoying Grand Theft Auto and PUBG on his PlayStation. He also had a special love for his mother's mole, which he always considered his favorite dish. Juan Ángel had many friends, with whom he shared his love of cruising nights every Sunday in his beloved Tahoe. He dreamed of one day owning a Corvette or a Dodge Challenger, and spoke enthusiastically about his plans for the future. From a young age, he demonstrated an admirable work ethic. He was always a tireless fighter, taking odd jobs since his adolescence to help out at home and build a better future. During the last year of his life, he worked as a rod-puller at SpaceX, with the same dedication and determination that characterized him in everything he did. He leaves us with the memory of a young, noble, and hardworking soul who touched the lives of many with his love, respect, and strong desire to excel. His absence leaves an immense void, but his memory will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Juan Miguel Martinez and Laura (Pedro) Ramirez; her siblings, Karim Irracheta, Taisha Marie Martinez, Alexa Irracheta, and Jazabell Ramirez; her grandparents, Maria Cedillo and Jorge Luis Garza, and Beatriz Segoviano; and many other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held at Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
