Brownsville- Juan Gutierrez Ortiz, 92, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his residence in Brownsville.

Mr. Gutierrez was born on September 12, 1932 to Mr. Jesus Gutierrez and Mrs. Carmen Ortiz in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico.

Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Jesus Gutierrez and Mrs. Carmen Ortiz; his loving wife, Otilia Gutierrez; his son-in-law, Virgil Litton; his brothers, Hilarion Gutierrez, Rafael Gutierrez, Antonio Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez and his sister, Guadalupe Gutierrez.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Jaime Ana) Gutierrez, Sergio (Ana Bertha) Gutierrez, Juan Gutierrez, Jose Jesus Gutierrez; his daughter, Leticia Litton; his brothers, Ramon Gutierrez, Jesus Gutierrez; his sisters, Margarita Gutierrez, Maria Gutierrez, Dolores Gutierrez; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

As per his wishes, Mr. Gutierrez will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.

El Sr. Gutiérrez nació el 12 de septiembre de 1932, hijo del Sr. Jesús Gutiérrez y la Sra. Carmen Ortiz, en La Piedad, Michoacán, México.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, el Sr. Jesús Gutiérrez y la Sra. Carmen Ortiz; su amada esposa, Otilia Gutiérrez; su yerno, Virgil Litton; sus hermanos, Hilarión Gutiérrez, Rafael Gutiérrez, Antonio Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez y su hermana, Guadalupe Gutiérrez.
