Juan M. Guerra

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan M. Guerra, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, who left this world on August 16, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on July 5, 1959, in Vallehermoso Tamaulipas Mexico, Juan embraced life with an open heart and an unyielding spirit, making profound memories for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Juan is preceded in death by his father, Fermin Guerra; his son, Aaron Guerra; one brother, Francisco Guerra; one sister, Aurora Guerra & his first wife, Elizabeth C. Guerra.

He is survived by his wife, Corlota Guerra; one son, Johnny Guerra (Erica); one daugher, Crystal Hernandez (Joel); daughter in law, Joanna Guerra; his devoted mother, Maria Esther Guerra; two brothers, Daniel Guerra, David Guerra; five sisters, Martha Elena Guerra, Elizabeth Guerra, Maria Esther Alcozar, Sara Guerra & Maria Alicia Estevane. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Eli Guerra, Loralina Guerra & Hannah Hernandez.

The legacy of Juan M. Guerra will be celebrated Friday, August 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM, at the Amor Viviente Church IPHC in Donna, TX, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Amor Viviente Church IPHC allowing all to come together to reflect on Juan's life, his love, and his lasting impact. Following the service, Juan will be laid to rest in the serene surroundings of Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, TX at 2:00 PM.

As we honor Juan's memory, let us remember his kindness, his warmth, and the joy he brought into our lives. May his spirit continue to inspire us as we navigate the roads ahead, forever touched by his presence.
