Weslaco- Juan Gerardo Vazquez, born on January 18, 1986, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas. He graced the lives of many with his kind and welcoming nature, always making others feel at ease with a smile or a joke that brightened their day.
Juan's family was a fundamental part of his life. He leaves behind his beloved father, Jose Vazquez, and his cherished mother, Sofia Guerrero Vazquez. Juan was especially close to his sister, Stephanie (Isaac) Garcia, with whom he shared countless memories filled with laughter and love. His heart was filled with affection for his treasured nephew, Enzo Garcia, who brought immense joy into his life. Additionally, he is survived by numerous aunts and uncles who held a special place in his heart, each of whom will miss him dearly.
The journey of Juan's life was marked by his remarkable ability to connect with others. Always ready with an encouraging word or a warm embrace, he managed to create bonds that transcended mere acquaintances. His great sense of humor was a thread that wove through his interactions, allowing him to forge friendships that were lasting and meaningful.
Juan's legacy will be honored through a series of services at Amor Viviente Church located in Donna, Texas. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on February 15, 2026, from 4 PM to 9 PM, followed by a prayer service beginning at 7 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, February 16, 2026, at 10 AM, with interment taking place at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas, at 11 AM.
