Juan García Tamez, amado esposo, padre, hermano, abuelo y querido amigo, falleció en paz el 13 de abril de 2026 en Weslaco, Texas. Nacido el 14 de junio de 1961 en Reynosa, Tamaulipas, México, la vida de Juan fue un testimonio de bondad, calidez y un sentido del humor perdurable que tocó a todos los que lo conocieron.

A lo largo de su vida, Juan fue conocido por su espíritu acogedor, siempre haciendo sentir a los demás en confianza con su amabilidad genuina y su risa contagiosa. Su gran sentido del humor llenaba de alegría las reuniones familiares y los innumerables momentos compartidos con amigos, dejando un legado de amor y felicidad.

Juan estuvo profundamente dedicado a su amada esposa, María del Refugio Anciso, con quien construyó una hermosa vida llena de amor y recuerdos compartidos. Como padre, fue un pilar de fortaleza y guía para sus hijos: Martín Eduardo Anciso y su esposa Verónica Villarreal Anciso, Yvette Anciso y su esposo Eduardo Rivas, y Valerie María Anciso y su esposo Joe Valencia. Su familia también fue bendecida con la presencia de nueve nietos y cuatro bisnietos, cada uno llevando adelante las maravillosas cualidades que Juan encarnó.

También es recordado con amor por sus hermanos que le sobreviven: su hermano Pedro García, Jr., y sus hermanas Dominga Ibarra y Juana García, quienes guardan su memoria con cariño en sus corazones.

La comunidad y todos aquellos que amaron a Juan están invitados a honrar su memoria durante la velación el jueves 16 de abril de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., en Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo a las 2:00 p.m. el viernes 17 de abril de 2026 en Grace Episcopal Church, ubicada en 701 S Missouri Ave, Weslaco, TX, seguido del sepelio en el Anahuac Community Cemetery, Mile 3 Road West, Edcouch, TX, a partir de las 3:00 p.m.

Juan Garcia Tamez, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in Weslaco, Texas. Born on June 14, 1961, in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico, Juan's life was a testament to kindness, warmth, and an enduring sense of humor that touched all who knew him.Throughout his life, Juan was known for his welcoming spirit, always making others feel at ease with his genuine kindness and infectious laughter. His great sense of humor brought joy to family gatherings and the countless moments shared with friends, leaving behind a legacy of love and happiness.

Juan was deeply devoted to his beloved wife, Maria Del Refugio Anciso, with whom he built a beautiful life filled with love and shared memories. As a father, he was a pillar of strength and guidance to his children: Martin Eduardo Anciso and his wife Veronica Villarreal Anciso, Yvette Anciso and her husband Eduardo Rivas, and Valerie Maria Anciso and her husband Joe Valencia. His family was further blessed by the presence of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each carrying forward the wonderful traits Juan so richly embodied.

He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings who survive him: brother, Pedro Garcia, Jr., and sisters Dominga Ibarra and Juana Garcia, all of whom hold his memory close in their hearts.

Juan was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Garcia; mother, Julia Tamez; brother, Jorge Garcia; and sister, Margarita Herrera. Though they have gone before him, their legacy lives on through the family that Juan so proudly nurtured.

The community and all who loved Juan are invited to honor his memory during the viewing on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Grace Episcopal Church, 701 S Missouri Ave, Weslaco, TX, followed by interment at Anahuac Community Cemetery, Mile 3 Road West, Edcouch, TX, starting at 3:00 PM.

Though Juan's physical presence is no longer with us, the love he gave so freely and the laughter he shared will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the honor to know him. His life was a beacon of kindness and joy, a precious gift that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Rest in peace, Juan Garcia Tamez. Your memory will forever be cherished.
