Progreso- Juan Carlos Alvarado Galvan, 59, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at his residence in Progreso, Texas.

Mr. Alvarado was born on August 26, 1966 to Mr. Catarino Alvarado and Mrs. San Juana Galvan in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Alvarado is preceded in death by his father, Catarino Alvarado; his brother, Isai Alvarado.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Maria De Los Angeles Lara; his sons, Carlos Alvarado, Nathan Alvarado, Daniel Alvarado; his daughters, Carla Alvarado, Karol Alvarado; his mother, San Juana Galvan; his brothers, Angel Alvarado, Juan Pablo Alvarado, Benjamin Alvarado, Miguel Alvarado; his sisters, Sandra Alvarado, Martha Lima.

Visitation for Juan Carlos Alvarado Galvan is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Faith in Weslaco. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a Chapel Service at 9:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Faith in Weslaco. Mr. Alvarado will be laid to rest at a later date at Panteon Municipal de Rio Bravo.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
