Jose Sepulveda

Jul 24, 1950 — Oct 14, 2026

With profound sorrow in our hearts, yet with the hope and comfort that our faith in God provides, we announce the passing of Mr. José Sepúlveda, who was called into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 76.

José was born on July 24, 1950, in General Terán, Nuevo León, Mexico, to José Sepúlveda and Beatriz Muñoz, who preceded him in death. From his earliest years, his life became part of a beautiful story that, with the passing of time, would be filled with love, cherished memories, and unforgettable moments shared with those he held closest to his heart.

Today, his passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing him. Although his physical presence will no longer be among us, the love he shared with his family, the lessons he imparted, and the memories created throughout his 76 years of life will remain alive forever.

José leaves behind to honor and cherish his memory his beloved wife and lifelong companion of 51 wonderful years, Blanca D. Sepúlveda. Together, they shared more than five decades of marriage, building a beautiful story of love, commitment, and family unity. Fifty-one years represent a lifetime of shared experiences, happiness, sacrifices, challenges overcome, and precious memories that will forever remain engraved in Blanca's heart. Although their paths have temporarily separated in this earthly life, the true love that united them can never be erased by time or distance.

He also leaves behind his beloved sons, Joe Sepúlveda, Jr. (Adriana) and Rogelio Sepúlveda (Annette), who will forever carry the memory of their father and the immeasurable significance of his presence in their lives.

His legacy of love continues through his cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Nicolas, Alyssa, Natalia, Ian, and Benjamin, as well as his great-grandson, Parker Baldwin. Each of them represents a priceless part of the family history José leaves behind, a story of love and togetherness that will continue to be shared from generation to generation.

Saying goodbye to a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather is one of the most difficult moments a family can endure. There are no words sufficient to ease the pain of his absence or fill the emptiness left in the home and hearts of his loved ones. Yet, we find strength in remembering that death cannot destroy the bonds of love, for those whom we love deeply remain with us in our thoughts, our prayers, and our most treasured memories.

Today, we lift our prayers to Heaven, asking our Heavenly Father to welcome José into His merciful arms, grant him eternal rest, and illuminate his journey toward everlasting peace with His perpetual light. May God provide comfort, serenity, and strength to his beloved wife, Blanca, his sons, grandchildren, great-great-grandson, and all his family members and friends during this time of sorrow.

May the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ serve as a source of hope for those who mourn his passing:

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."
- John 11:25

Visitation for Mr. José Sepúlveda will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., as family and friends gather in prayer to honor his memory and pray for the eternal repose of his soul.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. Although today we say goodbye with tears in our eyes and sorrow in our hearts, we trust that José has found eternal peace in the presence of the Lord. His memory will forever be a blessing, his love will never fade, and his legacy will continue to live on through the generations of his family.

Rest in eternal peace, José Sepúlveda. May the angels welcome you into paradise, and may perpetual light shine upon you for all eternity.
