Jose Jesus Cepeda

Brownsville - Jose Jesus Cepeda, 84, passed way Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Cepeda was born October 09, 1939, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Francisco Cepeda and Maria del Carmen Garcia Cepeda. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Cepeda; his parents; a son Jose Jesus Cepeda; brothers, Humberto Cepeda, Manuel Cepeda, Luis Cepeda; sisters, Hortencia Lerma and Graciela Zada.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Aracely Aguilar, Patricia Gonzalez, Javier Cepeda, Alicia Cepeda, Sonia Garcia, Veronica Carrillo, Blanca Barron, Juan Cepeda, Lizeth Cepeda, David Cepeda and Demetrio Cepeda. His sisters, Alicia Dominguez and Margarita Cepeda. Also surviving him are 37 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren,

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Brownsville with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Burial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
