Jose Angel Garcia Guerra

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Angel Garcia Guerra, a beloved son, husband, father, and brother, who departed this life on January 23, 2026, at the age of 42. Jose was born on January 8, 1984, in Mercedes, Texas, where he lived and fostered deep connections within his community throughout his life.

A man of unwavering strength and compassion, Jose touched the lives of many. He is survived by his cherished family: his loving spouse, Maria Lumbreras; his devoted children, Kimberly Garcia, Angel Gabriel Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, and David Garcia; his mother, Juana Guerra; his father, Juan Garcia; and his brothers, Juan Alfonso Garcia and Jorge Garcia. Each of them holds countless memories of laughter and love, reflecting the deep bond they shared with him.

Jose was known for his infectious spirit and ability to bring joy to those around him. His legacy will live on through the values he instilled in his family and the love he shared so generously. As we gather to celebrate his life, we invite you to honor his memory by joining us in reflection and remembrance.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of Faith from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 6:00 pm Prayer Service.

As per Mr. Garcia's wishes he will be created.
