Jorge Castillo

Lubbock, TX-Jorge Castillo Jr. was born on August 1, 1990, in Hidalgo, Texas, and he departed this life far too soon, on November 22, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. Jorge was a radiant soul who lit up every room he entered with his joyful spirit and infectious laughter. He was known for his incredible kindness, always willing to help anyone in need. This innate generosity, coupled with his knack for humor, made him beloved among friends, family, and even strangers.

An accomplished mechanic, Jorge found joy in working on cars, reveling in every opportunity to tinker and transform machines into something remarkable. His devotion to his craft was unparalleled; it was more than just a job to him-it was a passion that infused his life with purpose and fulfillment.

Jorge's legacy is one of love and laughter. He leaves behind his parents, Jorge Luiz Castillo and Iracema Saucedo, who were proud of the man he became. His loving partner, Esmeralda Silos, will carry forward the memories they created together, alongside the vibrant spark of joy that their son Enrique Castillo embodies. Jorge's daughters, Yareli, Eliana, and Kaylanni Castillo, will forever cherish the laughter and love their father brought into their lives.

He is also survived by his brother, Jonathan Castillo, and his sisters, Wendy Espinoza, Adriana Castillo, and Joselyn Castillo. Each sibling carries the warmth of their shared childhood and the bond they formed over countless moments of joy and support. Jorge was the proud uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom adored him for the fun and love he sprinkled across their lives.

In remembering Jorge, we see a life that was rich with love, steadfast in humor, and dedicated in work. As we gather to celebrate his exceptional journey, we invite all who knew him to join us for the viewing at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Grace on December 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place at the same location on December 2, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, followed closely by his interment at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Jorge Castillo Jr. will forever remain in our hearts. His laughter, kindness, and generous spirit have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
