Nacido el día de Navidad de 1991, en el tranquilo pueblo de Vicente Guerrero, Durango, México, la vida de Jhonnatan fue un brillante testimonio de alegría, pasión y de los simples placeres que enriquecieron los días de quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo.

Jhonnatan fue un hombre que llevaba la felicidad en su esencia. Siempre alegre, su espíritu se elevaba con las cosas que más amaba profundamente. Su entusiasmo por bailar llenó de luz y risas innumerables reuniones; sus pasos fluían en armonía con un ritmo que parecía reflejar los latidos de su corazón lleno de vida. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. El Santo Rosario se rezará en el mismo lugar la noche del 31 de marzo, iniciando puntualmente a las 7:00 p.m.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el 1 de abril de 2026 a la 1:00 p.m., ofreciendo una despedida solemne y llena de cariño, seguido de la sepultura de Jhonnatan en Highland Memorial Park, 6705 N FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, a partir de las 2:00 p.m.

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of Jhonnatan Aguilar Mateos, who departed from this world unexpectedly on the 27th of March, 2026. Born on Christmas Day in 1991, in the serene town of Vicente Guerrero, Durango, Mexico, Jhonnatan's life was a radiant testament to joy, passion, and the simple pleasures that enriched the days of those fortunate enough to know him.

Jhonnatan was a man who carried happiness in his very being. He was always happy, his spirit uplifted by the things he loved most profoundly. His enthusiasm for dancing brought light and laughter to countless gatherings, his feet moving in harmony with a rhythm that seemed to echo the beats of his enlivened heart. A passionate fisherman, he found solace and serenity beside waters, always eager for the next cast, the gentle wait, and the thrill of the catch. Equally, he was a gifted cook, renowned among family and friends alike for his culinary talents. Jhonnatan took great pride in barbequing for those he loved, turning each meal into an occasion, a celebration of life and togetherness. His love for dogs spoke volumes of his tender heart and capacity for care, reflecting the kindness that defined his character.

Jhonnatan leaves behind those who loved him most endearingly: his father, Jaime Aguilar Perez; his mother, Sandra Luz Mateos Aguilar; his brother, Jaime Ulysses Aguilar; and his sister, Kenia Juliet Aguilar. Their grief is immense, yet so too is their love and gratitude for having shared a lifetime with such a remarkable son and sibling.

To honor the life of Jhonnatan Aguilar Mateos, a series of commemorative services have been arranged. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to a viewing on March 31, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. A Rosary will be prayed at the same location on the evening of March 31, beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.

The funeral service will commence on April 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM, offering a solemn yet heartfelt farewell, before Jhonnatan's interment at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 N FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, beginning at 2:00 PM.

In remembering Jhonnatan, we celebrate a life illuminated by happiness and love, marked by the grace of simple joys and the depth of human connection. May those who cherish his memory find comfort in the enduring light he leaves behind. His presence, though no longer with us in form, continues to dance warmly in our hearts.
