Mr. Padilla was born on July 15, 1938 in Donna, TX to Mr. Catarino Padilla & Mrs. Severa Padilla.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his son Danny Padilla, and his brothers; Severino Padilla and Jesse Padilla.
Jesus Gilberto Padilla is survived by his loving wife Viola Lucille Padilla, his sons; Jose Angel Padilla, Roy Padilla, Edward Padilla, John Padilla, Fabian Padilla, and Rene Padilla, his daughters Susan Padilla and Sylvia Padilla, his sister Estela Montelongo, 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Jesus Gilberto Padilla is scheduled for Sunday, August 06, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service is scheduled for Monday, August 07, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
