Weslaco- Jesus Hector Castro, 71, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mr. Castro was born on April 16, 1954 to Mr. Geronimo Castro and Mrs. Maria Andrade Castro in Mexico.

Mr. Castro is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Geronimo Castro and Mrs. Maria Andrade Castro; his brother, David Castro and his sister, Maria E. Castro.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Andres Hector Castro, Ernesto (Rubi Olvera) Castro; his daughters, Sandra Castro, Christina (Jorge L. Salazar-Hernandez) Castro; his brothers, Arturo Castro, Pedro Castro, Valentin Castro; his sisters, Graciela Pequeno, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Adela Moreno and his grandchildren, Emery Banda, Andy Banda, Ashley A. Salazar Castro, Anthony Salazar Castro, Isaac Castro, Elias Castro.

Visitation for Mr. Jesus Hector Castro is scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Talk Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
