Jaime Mata

Donna, Texas - Jaime Mata, 48, passed away to be with the Lord on June 5, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Hospice Facility.

Mr. Mata was born on July 2, 1976, in Berrien Springs, MI to Mr. Juan Ramon & Mrs. Elena Mata.

Jaime Mata is survived by his wife, Aundrea C. Mata; three daughters, Jaidre Victoria Mata (Matthew Montez), Celeste Soledad Mata (D'onte King), Jamie Christine Mata (Mark Cortina); his parents, Juan R. & Elena Mata; three brothers, Juan Mata, Jr., Javier Mata & Adrian Mata. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Serena Wilde Montez, Maddison James Montez, Julius Alexander Montez & MalaKai Anthony Cortina.

Visitation for Jaime Mata is scheduled for Monday, June 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM both nights. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, TX.
