It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacinto Escobar Barron, who departed this life on June 12, 2026. Born on September 2, 1962, in Ciudad del Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Jacinto touched the hearts of many through his loving nature and dedication to family.

Jacinto's life was marked by his deep affection for his children and the joy he found in bringing loved ones together. Known for his passion for cooking and barbecuing, he was always ready to answer a craving with a homemade meal, a gesture that expressed his care and generosity. His warm spirit and culinary talents created countless cherished memories among family and friends.

He was the beloved son of the late Pedro Escobar and Natividad Barron. Jacinto was also predeceased by his brother Silvano Escobar and sister Bertha Escobar, whose memories he carried in his heart.

Jacinto's legacy lives on through his loving family, surviving him with enduring love and admiration. He is survived by his devoted sons Josue Escobar and Carlos Samuel Escobar; daughters Samanta Escobar, Ana Escobar, and Itzayana Ibarra. His life was further enriched by the companionship of his brothers Laurentino Escobar, J. Guadalupe Escobar, Anastacio Escobar, Jose Escobar, Juan David Escobar, and Joaquin Escobar, as well as his sisters Inez Hinojosa and Alicia Escobar. Jacinto was a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to Matthew Estevanes, who will carry forward his memory and spirit.

A viewing to honor Jacinto's life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. This will be followed by a funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment will take place immediately afterward, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn Cemetery.

Jacinto Escobar Barron's presence will be dearly missed. His commitment to family, his generous spirit, and his love for life will be remembered and treasured by all who had the privilege to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Con profundo respeto y gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jacinto Escobar Barrón, quien partió de este mundo el 12 de junio de 2026. Nacido el 2 de septiembre de 1962 en Ciudad del Maíz, San Luis Potosí, Jacinto tocó los corazones de muchas personas con su carácter amoroso y su dedicación a la familia.

La vida de Jacinto estuvo marcada por el profundo amor que sentía por sus hijos y la alegría que encontraba al reunir a sus seres queridos. Conocido por su pasión por la cocina y las carnes asadas, siempre estaba dispuesto a satisfacer cualquier antojo con una comida preparada en casa, un gesto que reflejaba su cariño y generosidad. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. Posteriormente, se celebrará un servicio fúnebre de 1:00 p.m. a 2:00 p.m. en el mismo lugar. La sepultura se realizará inmediatamente después, a partir de las 2:00 p.m., en Mercedes Memorial Restlawn Cemetery.
