Israel Trevino

Mercedes - Israel Trevino, 79, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at Mid Valley Nursing and Rehab in Mercedes.

Mr. Trevino was born December 3, 1944 in Mexico, son of Jose Angel Trevino and Ester Castillo Trevino. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Rosario Trevino and his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Maria Luisa Silva, Maria Guadalupe Trevino, Martha Griselda Trevino, Martin David Trevino, Jose Cruz Trevino, Israel Trevino Jr., Adan Trevino, Eva Trevino, Juan Paulo Trevino, Genaro Trevino, Yolanda Trevino; brothers, Juan Manuel Trevino, Guadalupe Trevino, Reymundo Trevino, Dagoberto Trevino; sisters, Maria Luisa Trevino, Maria Ester Lopez, Sylvia Trevino, Josefa Trevino. Also surviving him are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a mass at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will buried in Mexico at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
