His loving heart was also reflected in Elisa Cantu, the mother of his children, and his devoted brother Miguel Valenzuela. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo R. and Anita Gonzalez, whose memory he honored by embodying the values and virtues they instilled in him.

The family will gather to celebrate Israel’s life with a Viewing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, and a Prayer Service later that day from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Both services will be held at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, Texas, 78599.
