Irene Flores Salinas

Brownsville- Irene Flores Salinas, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2026, with her family at her side at the age of 88 in Baytown, Texas.

She was born on January 31, 1938 in Hebbronville, Texas, to Mr. Ruben Flores and Mrs. Maria Flores.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Salinas, WWII Veteran, brothers Ernesto Flores and wife Anita, Cristino Flores and wife Isabel, Abel Flores, her brother in law Larry Pevoteaux, and her grandson Luis Andres Garza.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughters, Alfredo Garza and wife Ana , Israel Garza and wife Veronica, José Garza and wife Leticia, Rolando Garza and wife Gracie, Dalila Ochoa and husband Armando, Luis Garza and wife Marlene, Arturo Garza, Rosa Salinas and husband Hector, Maria Rosario Salinas Garza and husband Ruben, Irene Ringham and husband Joe, Aurora Salinas and husband Hector, and Sister Esther Pevoteaux. 28 grand children, 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Park in Brownsville.
