It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hilario Medrano, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on September 15, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on August 12, 1949, in San Luis Potosi Mexico, Hilario dedicated his life to hard work and family.
Hilario is survived by his devoted spouse, Graciela Medrano; two sons, Josue Hilario Medrano (Marlene), Caleb Medrano (Linda); two brothers, Jaime Medrano, Estanislado Medrano; six sisters, Maria Flores, Angelita Gonzalez, Lourdes Honorato, Maria Carmen Mireles, Aurora Saenz & Gloria Prieto. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jayden Medrano, Madison Medrano, Moises Medrano, & Marlette Medrano. He was a pillar of strength and kindness in their lives, imparting invaluable lessons of resilience, love, and the importance of family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved and in the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
The public viewing will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service, where family and friends are invited to gather to share stories and memories.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 12:30 PM, at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. Hilario will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
As we prepare to bid farewell to this remarkable man, we invite all who knew Hilario to celebrate his life and the enduring love he fostered within his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering spirit and the joy he brought to our lives. May he rest in eternal peace.
