Herminio Vasquez

Elsa - Herminio C. Vasquez, 98, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Weslaco.

Mr. Vasquez was born April 25, 1925 in Mexico, son of Concepcion Vasquez and Gabriela Ceja Vasquez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Desi O. Vasquez; his parents and a son Roy Vasquez.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Rolando Vasquez (Sylvia), Robert Vasquez (Irma), Ricardo Vasquez (Zeny), Blanca Werbiski, Bertha Chavez; siblings, Agustin Vasquez, Estanislao Vasquez, Tereso Vasquez, Adan Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, Virginia Vasquez, Refugia Vasquez, Angelina Vasquez and Mereciana Vasquez. Also surviving him are 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Herminio C. Vasquez is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa - Chapel of The Angels with a 6:00 p.m. rosary. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
