San Juan, Texas - Heriberto Gomez Vasquez, 75, passed away to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Mr. Gomez was born on March 16, 1949 in General Teran Nuevo Leon Mexico to Joaquin & Lucia Gomez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Tomas Gomez, Juan Gomez & Guillermo Gomez.
Heriberto Gomez Vasquez is survived by his wife, Araceli Galvan; four sons, Marcos Gomez, Heriberto Gomez, Jr. (Florestela), Joaquin Gomez (Erica), Juan Gomez (Danelle); two daughters, Mari Garcia (Domingo), Lucia Gomez (Ricardo Ramon); two brothers, Emilio Gomez, Joaquin Gomez & one sister, Dolores Guerrero. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Heriberto Gomez Vasquez is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace with a 6:00 PM Rosary. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
