Weslaco - Gustavo Caballero, 62, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen.
Mr. Caballero was born March 21, 1964 in Weslaco, Texas, son of Gustavo Caballero and Susana Gomez Caballero. He is preceded in death by his father and his brother George Caballero.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Susana Caballero, his brother, Rene Caballero (Annie); sisters, Evylinda "Evy" Gonzalez (Rick) and Leticia Caballero (David Carmona Sr.) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday May 21, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:30 noon at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
