It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Guillermo Castillo, who left this world peacefully on May 10, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on June 25, 1949, Guillermo lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, great grandfather, Guillermo will be deeply missed by his devoted spouse, Mauricia Mares, as well as his cherished children: Jesus Castillo, Gerson Castillo, Guillermina Castillo, Martha Castillo, and Juana Castillo. He was also a proud grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Karla, Gisela, Rebaca, Jesus, Guillermo, Oscar, Alex, Ashley, Alexis, Ariel, Ana, Diego, Jose, Axel, Gael, and Angel, who all brought immense joy to his life. Guillermo was preceded in death by: his parents; +Narciso Castillo, +Teodosia Chavira, his siblings; +Jose Luis Castillo, +Liborio Castillo, +Amalia Castillo.

Guillermo's warmth and kindness were felt by family, friends, and the community of Raymondville, Texas, where he resided. He was known for his nurturing spirit, providing support and comfort to those around him. Guillermo embraced life with gratitude and celebrated every moment, creating lasting memories that will remain etched in the hearts of his loved ones.

In honor of Guillermo's life and legacy, we invite family and friends to come together in remembrance and celebration. A Rosary will be held on May 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM, providing an opportunity for all to share their reflections and love for this remarkable man. Prior to the Rosary, a Public Viewing will take place on the same day from 2:00 PM onward, allowing everyone to pay their respects.

As we gather to celebrate Guillermo's life, we remember his laughter, his unwavering love, and the countless ways he touched our lives. May his spirit continue to inspire us and remind us of the beauty in every moment.
