She was born March 4, 1943 in Edcouch, Texas, daughter of Esteban Valdez and Celia Valdes Valdez. She is preceded in death by a son Ismael Robles and by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Roberto Robles, Santiago Robles Jr., Ruben Robles, & Carlos Sanchez; brothers, Esteban Valdez, Gregorio Valdez, Benigno Valdez and a sister, Rebecca V. Hernandez. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. She will be interred in Chicago, Illinois at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
