With profound sorrow and deep love, the family of Guadalupe B. Zamora announces her passing on July 14, 2026, in Mexico. Guadalupe was born on May 16, 1954, in Weslaco, Texas-a place that would always remain close to her heart and where the roots of her remarkable life took hold.
Guadalupe's journey was marked by strength, compassion, and a steadfast devotion to her family. She brought warmth and light wherever she went, nurturing those around her with an abundance of love and understanding. Her legacy is one woven from moments of genuine kindness, tireless support, and an unyielding commitment to the people she cherished most.
She is survived by her beloved children: Judy Ann Zamora (Geoffrey Ramirez), Luis Miguel Zamora, Karry Zamora, and Azucena Zamora. As a mother, Guadalupe poured her heart into raising her children, instilling within them values of integrity, perseverance, and empathy. Guadalupe's unwavering presence and gentle guidance leave a lasting impression in their lives-an enduring testament to her character.
Guadalupe was also a pillar of strength for her siblings, who now mourn her passing but carry forward her memory: brothers Santos Blas, Sabino Blas, David Blas, and Pedro Blas; and sisters Diana Blas de Yañez, Maria Blas Jennings, Genoveva Blas, Ninfa Blas de Cordova, Beatriz Blas Zapata, and Fatima Blas Castillo. In each relationship, she exemplified what it meant to be a sister-steady, supportive, and always ready with a loving embrace or a listening ear. Throughout her life, Guadalupe nurtured bonds that became a source of comfort and unity for her entire family.
Her love extended across generations, blessing her with sixteen grandchildren. Each grandchild brought her immeasurable pride and joy, and her spirit continues to inspire them even as they grieve her passing.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Blas and Maria Carmen Sanchez. Their memories, held close to her heart, remain a cherished part of the family's collective story.
