Guadalupe Alvarado

Brownsville- Guadalupe Alvarado, 97, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at his residence in Brownsville, Texas.

Mr. Alvarado was born on September 26, 1927 to Mr. Fructoso Alvarado and Mrs. Maria G. Alvarado.

Mr. Alvarado is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Donaciana M. Alvarado, one son, Guadalupe Alvarado Jr.; five daughters, Ruth A. (Robert) McGinnis, Diamantina Alvarado, Nancy (Johan) Roux, Nohemi (Armando) Perez, Annabel (Reynaldo) Trevino and seven grandchildren, Amanda Rodriquez, Allison McGinnis, Diana Infante, Juan Infante III, Joshua Roux, Joaquin Trevino & Nayeli Trevino.

Visitation for Mr. Guadalupe Alvarado is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Brownville, Texas. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Guadalupe Alvarado Jr., Robert McGinnis, Johan Roux, Armando Perez, Reynaldo Trevino, Juan Infante III & Joshua Roux.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
