Edinburg- Grace Cisneros, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas. Born on November 27, 1969, in Lubbock, Texas, Grace lived a life marked by strength, kindness, and an unwavering faith that inspired all who knew her.
Grace was known for her warm and welcoming nature, a woman who could instantly make others feel at ease with her kind heart and great sense of humor. She faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience, never allowing obstacles to define her. Instead, she met each trial with determination and grace, always doing everything in her power to overcome whatever came her way.
Her family was the center of her world. Grace cherished her role as a grandmother, delighting in watching her grandchildren play baseball-a passion she held close to her heart. Playing with her grandchildren was one of her greatest joys, and she was always caring for them with unmatched devotion. Grace's bond with her sons was unbreakable; she always had her boys close by, and those around her often fondly joked that they were truly "momma's boys." Her deep love and unwavering support shaped the lives of her children and grandchildren alike.
As a strong Catholic believer, Grace held her faith dear throughout her life, finding comfort and strength within it. She was a pillar of her community and family, exemplifying the values of love, compassion, and perseverance.
Grace is lovingly remembered by her husband, George Cisneros; her sons, George Cisneros Jr. and Brian (Anahi) Cisneros; and her treasured grandchildren, Brian Caleb Cisneros, Calvin Cisneros, and Caiden Cisneros. She is also survived by her siblings, Israel Marmolejo, Gloria Marmolejo, Sandra Cantu, Dalia Garcia, and Mary Marmolejo. Their lives are richer for having shared in her love and laughter.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Marmolejo and Santiaga Rangel Marmolejo, and her brothers, Juan Marmolejo and Santiaga Rangel.
Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Grace's remarkable life with a viewing and rosary at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels, 304 E. Edinburg Ave, Elsa, Texas, 78543, on April 12, 2026. The viewing will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass to commemorate her life will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa, Texas, on April 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Sacred Park Cemetery.
Grace Cisneros's legacy is one of unwavering love, enduring faith, and a strength that brightened the lives of everyone she knew. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, her community, and all who had the privilege to know her-a true testament to a life beautifully lived.
