Elsa- Gilverto Ruiz, 69, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
He was born on September 2, 1950 in Elsa, Texas to Mr. Julian Ruiz & Eloisa Pacheco Ruiz.
Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Julian Ruiz Jr. and his sister: Ninfa Rodriguez.
Left to cherish Mr. Gilverto Ruiz memories is his daughters: Lorrie (Javier Arellano) Flores, Julie Ruiz & Sonia (Jose) Navarro; mother of children: Maria Morales; his brothers: Guadalupe Ruiz, David Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz & Ricardo Ruiz; his sisters: Nina Pate, Alicia Morales, Margarita Escalon, Refugia Garcia, Juanita Gonzalez & Josefina Ruiz; his grandchildren: Samuel R. Flores, Julie Ann Ruiz, Emily Navarro & Joshua Navarro and his great-grandchildren: Gabriel Ruiz, Jay Anthony Flores, Sophia Flores & Max Ruiz.
Visitation for Mr. Gilverto Ruiz is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. As per Mr. Ruiz wishes he will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
