Francisco Puente Vasquez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francisco Puente Vasquez, who entered eternal rest on August 19, 2026, in Weslaco, Texas. He was born on May 26, 1962, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Francisco will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and a man whose greatest joy was the family he loved so dearly. His life was filled with meaningful moments shared with those closest to him, and the love, memories, and lessons he leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ninfa Vasquez.

Francisco is survived by his loving wife, Melva C. Puente; and his three sons, Jorge O. Puente, Fabian Puente, and Frank Puente. His family will forever cherish the memories they created together and the love and presence he brought into their lives.

A visitation in honor of Francisco will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM that evening.

At the request of the family, please do not send floral arrangements. The family sincerely appreciates everyone's understanding, prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Francisco Puente Vasquez will be cremated at a later date.

May the memories of Francisco's life, his smile, and the love he shared bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. Though his earthly presence will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched.
