Edcouch, Texas - Francisco G. Castillo, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on July 2, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Castillo was born on May 25, 1941, in Mercedes, TX to Carlos Castillo & Petronila Garcia.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Francisco G. Castillo is survived by his wife, Juana Castillo; three sons, Francisco Castillo, Jr. (Iris), Arnoldo Castillo (Judith), Carlos Castillo (Patricia Diaz); three daughters, Sara Castillo (Joe Peña), Sofia Gonzales (Oscar, Jr.), Christina Castillo (Trinidad Ledesma); one brother, Mateo Castillo; six sisters, Simona Garcia, Paula Niño, Luisa Niño, Alicia Perez, Amada Castillo & Belia Moreno. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Francisco G. Castillo is scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at La Blanca Community Cemetery.
