Fidel Renteria Chavez

Fidel Renteria, beloved husband and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 24, 1955, in Hidalgo Tamaulipas Mexico, Fidel's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roman Renteria & Juana Chavez; one brother, Jose Guadalupe Reneteria & one sister, Severa Renteria.

Fidel is survived by his devoted wife, Carmen Renteria, whose companionship illuminated his life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and resilience. The love they shared will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew them. He is also survived by two sons, Martin Renteria, Cristo Rey Renteria; three stepsons, Antonio Sanchez (Linda), Daniel Sanchez, Salvador Sanchez (Connie+); five step-daughters, Amanda Sanchez, Cynthia Recio (Narciso), Melinda Acuña (Leo), Alma Sanchez (Juan) & Carmen Sanchez-Rodriguez (Rigoberto). Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to honor Fidel's memory at a memorial service that will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith with 7:00 PM Rosary.
