Eunice Guajardo

Weslaco- Eunice Berta Guajardo, a cherished soul and devoted family member, was born on January 15, 1952, in Mercedes, Texas. She brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered until her passing on January 3, 2026, in Weslaco, Texas. Eunice was not only a talented cosmetologist, but she was also a friend to many, known for her vibrant personality and compassionate spirit.

Eunice had a passion for life that was reflected in her hobbies and interests. She adored cooking, where she would lovingly prepare delightful meals for her family and friends. Her love for shopping allowed her to share not just items, but heartfelt memories and laughter with those she loved. Dance was a joyful expression for Eunice-she never missed an opportunity to move to the rhythm of music, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and grace. Her friendly nature made it easy for her to connect with people, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who crossed her path.

In addition to her many passions, Eunice was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness, embodying the values of faith and community that were so important in her life. Her faith guided her actions and provided a foundation for the love she spread throughout her family.

Eunice leaves behind her beloved husband, Eladio B. Guajardo, who shared a lifetime of memories filled with love and companionship. She is survived by her sons, Eladio Guajardo Jr. and Jorge E. Guajardo, and her daughter, Berta A. Guajardo and her sister, Maria Concepcion Trevino. Eunice was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her dear father, Perfecto De Los Santos; her mother, Carolina Lozano; and her brother, Perfecto De Los Santos Jr.. Although they may have departed from her side, their love and influence remain woven into the fabric of her family's legacy.

The viewing will take place at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens on January 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Additional services will include a dedicated gathering at 7:00 PM on the same day, followed by her funeral service on January 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM, culminating in her interment at Weslaco City Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
