Esther R. Vasquez

Harlingen - Esther R. Vasquez, 86, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at her residence in Harlingen. She was born February 28, 1938 to Yrineo Rodriguez and

Tomasita J. Vasquez. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Raul (Lydia) Rodriguez; sister, Estella (Felipe) Rodriguez; Nephew, Jesse Eli Torres; brother in laws, Enrique Rivera and Jesse Torres.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Noe F. Vasquez; her children, Caleb Vasquez, David (Vernoica) Vasquez, Noe (Adrianna) Vasquez Jr., Esther Vasquez, Lydia Eunice (Luis) Lopez; her brothers, Rev. Eleazar (Lydia) Rodriguez, Rev. Misael (Olga) Rodriguez, Yrineo (Elena) Rodriguez Jr., Abel (Regina) Rodriguez, Rev. Moises (Anna) Rodriguez, Rev. Samuel (Febe) Rodriguez; her sisters, Elvia Rivera, Rev. Rosa (Ramiro) Rodriguez, Lydia Torres; 17 grandchildren, Jennifer Shaye Vasquez, Selena (Lawrance) Tucker, Amber Vasquez, Jason Vasquez, Brittany V. Vasquez, Luke Vasquez, Isabella Vasquez, Jazlyn Vasquez, Kate Vasquez, Emma Vasquez, Christian Morales, Justin Vasquez, Leila A. Lopez, Johnelle L. Lopez, L'Oreal N. Lopez, Joaquin P. Lopez, Lana A. Rivera; 3 great grandchildren; Sophia Tucker, Arabelle Lopez and Ariella Lopez.

Esther was known to be very loving, caring, compassionate, forgiving women of God. She loved cooking for her family, enjoyed playing the piano at her church, she had a beautiful talent as a seamstress making bridal and quinceanera gowns and work for Carters and the Levis Strauss company. Esther will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Catedral Del Valle Church 824 Santiago Galvan Progreso, TX.

on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm with a Service at

11:00 am. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
